Il caffè (corretto) della sera – Online Meetings in Tropical Medicine and Global Health 

A SIMET project reserved for members. 

A series of synchronous online meetings held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m CET. Each session has its own access link (Google Meet platform), which will be sent to members in good standing with their annual membership fee on the Monday preceding the event. Please note that the annual membership fee is valid from January to December of the same year. 

The meetings are not recorded. Starting from the second edition, participants may request a certificate of attendance. 

The project was launched for the first time in September 2023. The speakers come from diverse professional and cultural backgrounds. Topics covered range from global health, migration, reproductive health and tropical medicine to transcultural medicine. 

Why call it “Caffè”?

Because our aim is to offer you a lively hour-long break from your daily work routine — a moment of (virtual) conviviality and interaction among friends sitting around a table with a steaming cup of coffee (ideally corretto=spiked), discussing issues of global interest.
