SIMET board

The SIMET Board is composed of the President and 14 Board members, two of whom serve as Vice Presidents. The President serves a three‑year term and may not be immediately re‑elected to the same position. The two Vice Presidents serve three‑year terms and may be elected to their respective positions for no more than two consecutive terms. Board Members are elected every three years and may not serve more than two consecutive terms in the same role. Board members are experts in tropical medicine and surgery, public health specialists, microbiologists, parasitologists, veterinarians, and social‑health professionals engaged in development cooperation.
